Still trying

Steps for easing into ankara or printed clothes in general:

1. Buy a print you actually like. It’s easier to wear something you like, obviously. Don’t pick out pieces you think you may grow to like because you’ve seen other people wear them. Shop for you, you’re the one wearing the clothes anyway.


2. Start off small – maybe a headband, a scarf, some sorts of accessories or a bag. Don’t feel like you need to rush into a full-on print ensemble. Start off with smaller portions of your outfit and progress from there.

3. Be confident. Confidence adds an extra level of awesomeness to any outfit.
